Ride Description: Saturday morning we will depart Fletcher's South at 8 AM with full tanks and empty bladders and head for the Speedworld Dragway in Orlando, FL for the season opener of the All Harley Drag Racing Assn., (ahrda.com http://www.ahdra.com/). The AHDRA is comprised of members who race only Harley-Davidson or (Harley-Davidson type) Motorcycles from stock classes to the very custom 230 MPH Top Fuel rocket sleds. If you have never seen a motorcycle drive 1320 feet in less then 6 seconds at 230 miles per hour with the front wheel never touching the ground, you don't want to miss this. These monsters have up to 220 cu.in. engines that spit out almost 900 horsepower. This ain't yo Mama's Harley. (By the way, that is over a whopping 3600 cc's. And you thought your 110-inch Harley was something.)
On Saturday night we will stay at a motel (to be determined), which is just a few miles from the track. It'll be a good to stay with lots of restaurants nearby. We need to book rooms early since this is also the start of Bike Week. Rooms fill fast. If you want to go please express your desire early so we can all get rooms together.
Race Schedule is: Friday is Test and tune, and Saturday are Qualification runs with Sunday being the Eliminations. There is no rain date.
Our plan is to depart 8 AM Saturday, stop for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel near Haines City and get to the track about 11:30. We'll guarantee the rooms for late arrival. This ride will be mostly on I-4. We will spend the night near Orlando and go back to the track about 9:AM to watch the eliminations. Leaving time will be decided by consensus.

Ride Description: Come join the fun as we take Interstate 4 to the yearly celebration in Daytona Beach. This marks the 70th year that this event has taken place and the celebration seems to get better with every year. The early start time and straight shot are an attempt to be in Daytona to explore the festivities. Our stopping point will be at the race track HOG pin stop. For those that have special areas to visit we will determine a meeting point and time to start the journey back to this coast. For those that want to explore with me you are more than welcome to.

Ride Description:
Join us for a quick zip over to the Daytona Speedway via I-4. There will be 2 short comfort stops. This is not a breakfast ride, so eat first or bring something with you. It should take a little less than 3 hours to arrive at our destination.
You are free to go your own way after we arrive or you can tag along with me. We'll rendezvous at the Long Horn Steakhouse and depart at 3:00 p.m.

The HOG pins stops are at the Speedway and the Beach Avenue store. Demo rides are at the Speedway. There are plenty of vendors at both locations as well as at Destination Daytona.

Ride Description:
Come ride along with us as we take the scenic route to Bushnell, FL and lunch at Sonny's BBQ. There won't be a lot of twisties or board grinding, but there will be some nice country roads that offer a great view of the countryside.
There will be two quick comfort stops along the way and we should be able to arrive in Bushnell around lunch time. Sonny's does not take reservations (I called and spoke to the manager). She did say that if we get there before the church crowd arrives at noon, there shouldn't be much of a wait (if any) and that they would get us all in and fed as quickly as possible.
Depending on your mood after lunch, your ride home can be back the same general way we came, a short ride down I-75 to SR-50 and then back west or a ride down US 301 to SR-50 and back west. Or you can go down I-75 to SR-54 or SR-56 and then back west. There are gas stations close to Sonny's for those that might need or want to top off the tank before heading back.
Fill the bike with gas, smear some sunscreen on your nose, grab a bottle of water and let's hit the road for a great morning of riding and some lunch with your FBACC chapter friends

· Riding in a staggered formation
· Lane Changing
· Emergency procedures and
· General HOG Chapter riding rules
The ride will be approx 1 1/2 hours with a rest stop in the middle and we will return to Fletchers for a "Q" and "A" session.

Ride Description:If you have never been to Sleepy Hollow you won't want to miss this ride.You can see some of the prettiest scenery and experience some of the best cycling roads Florida has to offer.You may see a Dinosaur,camel,gobblers, or the occasional wild hog as you wind your way thru Pasco,Hernando, and Citrus counties and to our eventual destination in Floral City.Check out Sleepy Hollow's website @www.wallowatthehollow.com.They have live music and a barbecue for five dollars.The parking lot is limerock and pretty hard but if you have a kickstand plate bring it.We will have a comfort stop or two and should arrive at 1pm when the festivities begin.
