The observation ride starts at Fletcher's South at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be served around 1:00 p.m. We will have games set up for the competitive types. We will be providing the burgers, dogs, bratwursts, trimmings and drinks... you just provide the appetite.

Ride Description:
Come join us as we journey to the Speckled Butterbean for lunch in Wildwood, FL. They offer a wide variety of home-style foods served buffet style. Last time I was there the fried chicken was excellent. There is also a well stocked desert buffet.
The ride is about 106 miles and will cover back roads and some highway stretches. There will be two short rest stops along the way. It is likely to be warm but its June and that's why we live in Florida.
Fill the bike with gas, smear on some sunscreen and let's hit the road for a great morning ride with your FBACC chapter friends.

Ride Description: Join Mike Ellis as he cruises over bridges and beaches. We will first go over the Bayside Bridge, then head out to Belleair Beach for a scenic ride down Gulf Blvd to St. Pete Beach. We'll cut across South Pasadena and Gulfport to get to US 19. We'll turn south and drop into Skyway Jack's. They do a great job with breakfast and for a reasonable price. Bring cash because they don't take credit/debit cards.

Ride Description: Ride to Suzy Q's Restaurant near Myakka City.
Now that it is getting pretty warm, we'll leave early and get to our destination for a late breakfast or early lunch. Suzy Q's is a a very informal eatery. The décor is not fancy, but the food is good. We'll take a brief comfort stop at the rest area at the south end of the Skyway Bridge, then proceed more or less directly to Suzy Q's. Suzy Qs takes cash and checks only.
Remember to bring your Sun Pass or dollar bill for the toll.

Ride Description: Ride to Tower Lake in Oldsmar to see the 6 pm show of the Tampa Bay Waterski Show Team. See barefooters, the four-tier human pyramid and graceful acrobatics from the lovely ladies & gents of the team as they put on their award-winning show for you. Bleacher seating is available; however, you may wish to bring a blanket or folding lawn chair and sit on the grass. A short ride will follow the show to the nearby Central Park Deli & Grill for some great sandwiches.

Herb's has been delighting bikers for a long long time! On the last Saturday of the month Herb's brings in noted Blues artists while patrons sink their teeth in his delicious BBQ
We'll get there in plenty of time to enjoy the BBQ. The music starts at 1:00 PM. We should be back in time for our monthly FBACC HOG meeting at Fletcher's South at 6:00 PM.

Join former Chapter Director Scott Tillesen for a short ride to the Memorial Day Ceremony at Bay Pines Cemetery. The setting for this ceremony is outdoors under some very old and large oak trees, very close to the cemetery where the Boy Scouts set up some 14,000 flags on the graves of those buried there. In past years Congressman Bill Young has been the featured speaker. Join us as we honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. While the ride officially ends at the Cemetery, generally many of the participants go to breakfast following the event.
