Well, Diana's ride to the Sandbar in Anna Maria Island, turned in to Steve's ride to the Sandbar.Diana, being the delicate flower she is, woke up with a bad respiratory ailment. (aka a cold) Since it was damp and foggy with a 50% chance of rain, she decided not to ride.Lucky for her, she is married to a fellow Road Captain. At first we thought nobody would show up. We underestimated this hearty bunch of HOG members. Charlie Nolan rolled in at 8:45, and a few minutes later 5 more riders (and 2 passengers) showed up. Diana rode sweep safely protected from the elements in her xB.  Dr. Mike and Lynn hooked up with us in Gulfport. As we continued south, the weather got better and better. The sun came out, and we all dined with our boots in the sand on the deck at the Sandbar. The food and fellowship was superb. Great ride (plan) Diana!
