Saturday night was our first chapter meeting for the new year !  It is one of our favorite meetings because it is the awards meeting or as Dick Pritchard put it the academy awards!!  There are three big awards handed out at the beginning of the new year that people earned for the year that just ended.

      Officer Rider of the Year given to the officer with the most rides under their belt for the year

 

      The Kathryn Kane award given to the a female member for her participation in chapter events, rides, volunteering, and committee involvement.

 

      Rider Of The Year  Dennis Chassin award given to the chapter member that participated in the most rides.

           Jim Wattam also presented all the officers with a token of appreciation from the chapter. We had a total of 20 officers last year.

         The chapter also surprised our fearless leader Jim Wattam with a trophy for the Most Valuable Player and a Medal Of Excellence and a gift card to the restaurant of his choice to show our appreciation  for the great job he did running the chapter last year. It is a lot of hard work, but he never complains  We are all looking forward to another great year with him !!!!

         We had some officers step down this year so we have a few brand new officers to welcome aboard

         Mike Rieker  is our new Head Road Captain , he was all ready at the meeting to thank all the road captains for their great rides in the past month .  He also told us about some of the changes we will see in months ahead.

          Nancy Howard,  Nancy Redding and  Catlin Hissa  are our new 50 / 50, name tag team. They did their first ooooz's and ahhhhhh's at the meeting tonight.  They did a fantastic job !!

          Pam Richards  will be filling a new position called the Volunteer Coordinator . This person will be making sure we have plenty of help at all our functions. We had a person jump right in and say no problem I will be happy to take the

          We also had a very special  treat as we found out that Bridge Musacchia  ( Matt's mother ) also know to all of us as mom has become a FBACC chapter member and also HOG member  She is in the prime of her 96 year old life. We are just thrilled that she has joined our happy group of bikers.

       Jeanine McFarland also had a table set up in the back of the room with some of the great things she will be selling at the Home Interior Party we will be having soon. Hope you can join us for this great fund raiser.!!
