On Friday Feb.15Th  the chapter was invited  by Denise Johnson to attend a church service at St. Jerome's for her husband and our friend Duke Johnson.   We had 30 motorcycles and others came in their cars.  Duke and Denise go way back  with  the chapter . They attended a lot of the rides, meetings  and chapter events like the holiday parties and the the picnics .  The thing that I think most people would remember him for is being our Web Master for about  4 years . He decided to retire as Webmaster  the end of 2007.  Duke turned the chapter website into a great place to visit. He created all new links for us to go to to get information on so many different things. People who didn't even belong to the chapter visited the site and said it was one of the best they ever looked at. He was always right on top of everything going on with the chapter so we always had the latest information to look at.  He definitely was a Web Master.  I know that  he was a very easy going guy that everyone loved and enjoyed being with. He also had a lot of patience with me with all my pictures and stories. I sometimes would send pictures with a story and then want to add or remove something I wrote or forgot to write. He was always there for me when I needed  him no questions asked.

Duke will be very missed in our chapter. He may be gone from the group in body but his spirit will always ride with us on every ride we ride !!
