Chapter Meeting / Fashion Show , April 26, 2008

                          At this months chapter meeting Jessica Manthel had a very nice surprise for everyone . Jessica is the fashion queen and buyer for most of Fletchers clothes and accessories. Every year with the help of a few of Fletcher employees and some chapter member volunteers she puts on a fantastic fashion show.

                         Jessica picks out some outfits  with certain people in mind that she would like to see model them, but she also lets the models help pick out some things that they think everyone would like to see.

                         The fashion show is so much fun to do for the people modeling the clothes, but it is alot of work to put together. Jessica has to figure out the clothes to be worn , how many models she needs, who's modeling together with who in the show and where everyone are in the line up so they can come out to strut their stuff.. Jessica does a great job and makes it look easy.

                        Someone else who is very important to the show and who also does a great job is our returning fashion show narrator Dick Pritchard. Dick introduces all the models and tells everyone about the clothes they are modeling. Some times the models aren't on cue or the outfits don't match the description that he has on the card so Dick being the quick thinker   that he is, he makes it look like everything is going great and nothing is wrong .

                 I took a group photo of all the models and as usual I am not in the group photo because I wanted to take the picture. I figure everyone knows I was in the show from the pictures when they look at them. I did want to say a special thank you to my hubby Jimmy for taking the pictures of the fashion show so I could be in it.
