Monday 26 May 27, 2008 was a beautiful day as 15 of us gathered at Fletcher’s Harley-Davidson to ride to the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital Complex for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony. We mounted up on 11 Harleys and followed Scott on a well planned ride that covered a bit of the county south of the dealership on our trip to honor those who have given so much for us to enjoy everything we do. Our own Caitlin also participated as part of the honor guard stationed at the Memorial Plaza on site. Along with annual favorite Representative C. W. “Bill” Young we had the pleasure of hearing from Benjamin Bell, who was part of the Honor Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington. After the ceremony a group of us headed over to the Country Kitchen on Seminole Blvd to grab a bite to eat. From there we went our different ways to do what it is that we do on holidays.
