July's Chapter Meeting was not like our ordinary monthly meeting . We were invited by Threshers Bright House Stadium to ride our bike onto the field and to sing the National Anthem for bike night . They also offered us a room to have our meeting , free admission to the game and all we could eat for $ 15:00 each which ended up only costing us $ 5:00 each because the Chapter paid the other $10:00 .

Everyone met at Fletchers at about 4:30 . Dick Pritchard gave us a run down on what was going on. There was 38 bikes , 4 cars and 56 bikers from our chapter waiting to go have a great time !! Dick led this happy little group to the stadium where they were waiting for us. They told us where to park and showed Jim where our meeting room was. We had about 30 minutes or so before we had to ride onto the field so we had a quick meeting and all got our tickets and bracelets that we needed to have for the game and our food.

As we road our bikes out onto the field, the people started waving and cheering us on from the stands . It was great seeing everyone so excited when they saw all the bikes coming out. We parked our bikes listen while the Anthem was sung , then it was time saddle up and ride off into the sunset and off the field with our bikes . As we rode off the field we all had one thing on our minds ," LET'S PARK THE BIKES AND EAT " !!

We all ate till we could eat no more, hot dogs, hamburgers , cheeseburgers, popcorn, ice cream, chips , peanuts and all the soda you could drink to. They handed out coupons for a free beer after that it was $ 2:00 a beer. This feast went on until 8:00.p.m.

Some sat and watched the game and others sat at tables and ate while they listened to the game. We had so much fun. While we were at the game it was a little on the warm side. David DeFiore started a little water fight with a couple of people. Christine used cold bottles of water on her neck to cool down and Glo tried putting ice down her shirt. As you can see from Glo's face I would guess it felt pretty good.

This turned out to be an unbelievable night with some great friends. We laughed and fooled around all evening. It was a night you didn't want to end.

We also got to sing happy birthday to Mike Ellis at our meeting !!
