I may be wrong but I think this may be the first ride in FBACC history where NO Harley was ridden!  This was a "all carley" event.....thanks to the rain!  Probably a good thing, however, since most of us tipped a few adult beverages!

12 members attended the 2nd annual Watering Trough line dancing ride.  Former Director, Roger Reed showed his spirit and made an appearance!  Roger didn't kick his heals on the dance floor or do the splits.....but he supported those of us who were brave enough to go out on the dance floor and have fun!  A dance instructor taught a few dances from 7 to 9 PM....from then on it was "you are on your own"!  Fran and Deniece were also instrumental in helping us keep in step.....heck.....Beth Snyder's heals were starting to smoke!  She had to go outside and step in a puddle just to cool 'em down!  And how 'bout our Head Road Captain, Luke?  He couldn't see his way to the floor 'cause he was saving his energy for the flight out of town Sunday!  And there was poor Kyle......he was so flummoxed watching us line dance he got ill and had to leave!  Kudos to him for coming out!  Newlyweds Dennis and Jude made an appearance!  One patron came up to me and said, "You've missed a couple of steps.....but it looks like you guys are having alot of fun!"  Yes, we did!

We'll do it again......next year!
