Rider Awards

Recognizing our Riders of the Month and Annual Award Winners

The FBACC currently has three annual and one monthly Rider Award programs.

Rider of the Month. This award is open to all members except the four Primary Officers. Every rider will get one point for each ride in which he or she participates, whether as a rider or ride leader. The rider with the most points in any month shall be selected as the ‘Rider of the Month’ provided that rider has participated in at least 30% of the available rides in that month. A rider may be awarded this recognition only once per calendar year. Participation by automobile does not qualify for participation points..

Rider of the year. All members except the four Primary Officers are eligible for this award. This recognition will be awarded to the rider that has participated in the most rides during the calendar year, whether as a rider or ride leader. One point will be awarded for each ride, unless the participation is by automobile..

Dennis Chaisson Member of the Year. Dennis Chaisson was a member of FBACC HOG who exemplified commitment to our Chapter and the community through his participation in rides, leading rides, volunteering at Chapter events, and providing leadership as a Chapter officer. This award is open to all members. Points shall be accrued for ride participation, ride leadership, meeting attendance, and volunteering for chapter events. The leading candidates will be reviewed by the Primary Officers for final selection.

Kathryn Kane Award. Kathy Kane was an FBACC HOG member who was instrumental in making our LOH organization a structured, well organized and committed group. She was an active rider, frequent volunteer, and source of innovative ideas. The recipient of this award will be a female Chapter member who displays the characteristics of Kathy through her participation, leadership, and volunteerism. Points shall be accrued as in the Dennis Chaisson award. The leading candidates will be reviewed by the Primary Officers for final selection.
